Best Swahili Cookbook on Amazon!

I've spent years living in Tanzania (and my wife is from there). We've been looking for a great book of Swahili recipes for years and never found one that was of much quality.
"Taste of Tanzania" is created at a high standard of quality when it comes to easy to use instructions, photos, and even background on Swahili cuisine.
The one thing I'd love to see in future editions is notes on Serving Size.

Great book with lots of vegetarian recipes

Beautiful book with tasty recipes. Even though the book has been created for omnivores, it has a lot of phenomenal vegetarian recipes, and I plan to purchase additional copies for my veggie family members and friends. Delighted to have found it.

My New Best Cookbook!

I learnt to cook like most Tanzanian girls at an early age of 13/14 but having lived in North America for so many years I am getting rusty on some of my favorite recipes, especially the traditional desserts and sweets recipes. I got my book the day before Easter and made the rice bread and holiday pilau, which is a different twist to the pilau I make. Both dishes a hit with my guests:o) The measurements were precise, the instructions clear, the pictures inspiring and the taste definitely Swahili. This book has definitely made it to my best cookbook list. There are a lot more variations to the recipes in this book and a lot more Swahili recipes, I definitely will look out for more cookbooks by this author.
